Sounds of Manly: Free Live Music and Entertainment Coming to Manly This Halloween Weekend

Manly is turning up the volume this Halloween weekend, with two days of free live music, street performances and family-friendly entertainment set to bring a little extra buzz to the town centre.
The inaugural Sounds of Manly, presented by Northern Beaches Council, will take place on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, transforming some of Manly's favourite spots into outdoor performance spaces.
Local musicians and entertainers will pop up across five locations, including The Corso, Rialto Square, Market Lane, Sydney Road and the forecourt of Manly Town Hall, giving locals and visitors another excuse to wander through town, grab a coffee, enjoy a long lunch or simply soak up the atmosphere.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins says the event is all about celebrating the creativity and community spirit that makes Manly such a special place.

"Sounds of Manly will add to the vibrant atmosphere of one of our most iconic destinations, with live music and entertainment showcasing the creativity, culture and community spirit that make Manly such a special place," Mayor Heins said.
And there's plenty to keep the little ones entertained too.
On Saturday, a roving hula hoop and juggling duo will bring some colour and fun to the streets between 10.45am and 12.45pm.
Sunday's entertainment includes the Move & Groove Stage Show on the John Speight Stage from 12.30pm to 1pm, featuring Scratch the Cool Kat, Lulu The Funky Clown and Trixie the Disco Dancing Pixie. Expect plenty of dancing, familiar childhood favourites with a funky twist and a chance to meet the performers afterwards.

With free entertainment scattered throughout the town centre, Sounds of Manly is a lovely opportunity to support local musicians and businesses while enjoying everything we love about Manly.
And really, what better way to spend a spring weekend than with a little sunshine, live music and the beach just around the corner?
Sounds of Manly runs Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026. Entry is free.
